Many of us come to recovery to ‘stop using’ but not to get ‘clean’. Because getting clean requires life transformation.
Death casts a frightening shadow over us because we are entirely helpless in it’s presence. We can struggle with pain, disease, injury and even addiction. But cannot overcome death.
Eventually we are all going to die and we can do nothing about it. What we can do is change how we live here, right now and our final destination in eternity.
The Bible is clear. The only way to heaven is through personal relationship with Jesus Christ and obedience to God’s commandments here and now.
Do you want to live and not just exist? Turn your life over to God today through acceptance of Christ as your Saviour, repentance of your sin and commitment to obedience to His commandments here on earth.
Psalms 23:4 Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure.
