As we move in recovery circles, week in, week out we grow. Sometimes our growth is noticeable straight away and sometimes it takes time to surface. Recovery requires radical life change, there is no doubt about it. We have to change our actions our attitudes, our values and beliefs. We also have to change our behaviours. Behavioural change is can be one of those changes that isn’t noticeable straight away. If you are new in recovery, be patient. The only way to get recovery experience is to experience recovery and the only way to change your behaviour is to intentionally change your behaviour, a little bit at a time if that’s what it takes.
