Humility

God cares about me

Psalms 56:8 You keep track of all my sorrows.you have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

Today I had opportunity to take my three children out, without my wife. I am surprised at how well they behaved and all got along. They are good kid’s.

Preparation for the ‘4o Days of Recovery’, commencing on 31st of July at the Salvation Army in Ferntree Gully is well under way. Along with the preparation I continue to maintain 3 daily blogs. This requires a fair bit of time in the Bible and the 12 Steps of Recovery.

At the moment I am going through the small group study ‘Stop the Madness – finding freedom from addictions’. Step 7 of this study is called ” A change of heart and mind’ and talks about us opening up the door to allowing Jesus to correct our wrong beliefs and change us from the inside out.

What an important step of recovery this is. Where we not only acknowledge God loves us but commit to spending time with Him for restoration and repentance.

God is good and He loves me. What an exciting adventure recovery is….
