Knowing each others story

Each family member has a story.

Family members need to know the history of its members. We need to know about our family successes and what we did when we succeeded.

When God saves us from addiction and compulsion we need to share it verbally and actively with our family.

Those times when we failed, what did we do? When we suffered, how did we overcome? What mistakes have we made as a family?

When we hurt, if we don’t share it with our family we cannot get irate because they don’t understand.

Does our family history show us that we could have done better if we had avoided certain paths? As a family, what have we learned from our mistakes?

When families explore their history and dissect their strengths and weaknesses, it brings great strength and a sense of purpose to all members of the family when they KNOW !
