Stop blaming God

Sometimes we may ask God. Why? Why did You allow me to become an addict? Why did You allow my marriage to fall apart? Why did you allow me to lose my job, family etc.

If you are tempted to put the blame on Him, ask yourself these questions;

1. How often did I communicate with God when I was using?

2. How much of my marriage did I involve God in?

3. When I was working, in my family life did I pay attention to God’s instruction (The Bible)?

Step 11 is about regular prayer and meditation. About learning and applying His will to my daily life in every area of my life.

The responsibility for my past mistakes and transgressions lies with no one other than me. As does the responsibility of what I do today with what God has given me.

Philippians 4:6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
