God involves Himself deeply in human affairs, entering into the whole range of our lives. He could if He wanted to announce His entrance. But He doesn’t. It is up to us to take hold of a victorious Christ. So we can master defects, discard our weaknesses and break away from our past. Through acceptance of Him as our Saviour and Lord we can be freed from our petty self-indulgence and disregard of God’s purpose for our lives. Through obedience to Him we can make the best of any bad situations we may find ourselves in.
