Powerlessness doesn’t need to be permanent.
2 Corinthians 12:9 Lord said, “My grace is all you need. Only when you are weak can everything be done completely by my power.” So I will gladly boast about my weaknesses. Then Christ’s power can stay in me
He know us and understands us because He made us!
Ephesians 1:5 .. before the world was made, God decided to make us his own children through Jesus Christ. This was what God wanted, and it pleased him to do it. http://ow.ly/aDMn8
Ephesians 6:12 Our fight is not against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness. We are fighting against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places.
Recovery can be a struggle. The ‘Good News’ is God equips us to deal with struggle. We all have our own demons, things we don’t want to face or do anything about. A word of warning! If we avoid dealing with them they will bring us undone.
In order to overcome them we need supernatural power, and God provides it to us by giving us His Holy Spirit within us as armour against our demons.
If you feel discouraged right now remember Jesus’ words to Peter “Upon this rock I will build my church; and all the powers of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)
