When we decide to let God have His way with us revolutionary things happen. As they do they can cause us fear and sometimes make us want to run away and return to the familiarity of our addictions and compulsions. In the scripture below Jonah clearly heard God and knew what was required. He chose to head in the opposite direction.
Today if you are at a place in your recovery walk where you can hear God, know what He wants you to do, can I suggest you put your faith in Him. Take a RISK and see what happens.

Lord, I get nervous when You ask me to do something I am uncomfortable with. Help me to accept your provision and direction for me and be obedient to your prompting.
