The willingness to share or stories, without holding back from the truth is one of the main contributions to the success of our meetings and recovery. Sharing encourages understanding, interest, support and fellowship. We feel better once we have been able to share our experience, strength and hope with others. Others benefit from our testimonies and open confession, gaining strength and hope for themselves.
“This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.” 2 Kings 7:9
I pray that I may know the God in the universe in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ in a way that I can openly share with others daily something of the Good News as it has helped me.
