Our hope is based on God’s faithfulness

BIBLE READING: Leviticus 26:1-46

FOCUS VERSE: In spite of their behavior, while they are among their      enemies I won’t reject or abhor or destroy them completely. I won’t break my covenant with them: I am God, their God.

In Jeremiah 29:11-12 the Bible says “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen.”

When we retain our hope in God while we suffer it shows that we understand    God’s merciful ways of relating to us
