The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray.
He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way
. Psalm 25:8-9

We need to let God change us. God cannot help us recover if we are to proud to admit we need His help and become willing to let Him change us.

All of us come to recovery looking for stability: Stability does not come without change, Change in recovery is about moving forward with God’s help, in every circumstance of our lives, at His pace.

Proverbs 12:3  says – “Wickedness never brings stability” That means we need to change the way act and react to what is happening in our lives and  what has happened to bring us to where we are now.

Proverbs 28:2 says – “Wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability” That means we need to change the people we listen to and we need to change how we communicate with those in our sphere of influence.

Prayer: Just for today I will pay attention and act appropriately to whatever happens to me. I will not listen to people who speak negatively and I will speak positively to peole I interact with and listen to God’s leading in all my communications.
