Don’t let others compromise your recovery

HOLD

Don’t become partners with those who reject God.
How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong?
That’s not partnership; that’s war. Is light best friends with dark?

2 Corinthians 6:14

We should avoid situations that compromise our recovery. If we continue to mix in our old groups and circles it may weaken our commitment to recovery. In the process of recovery we establish new levels of integrity, new standards of living, new boundaries for our attitudes and behaviors. Now this doesn’t mean we have to isolate ourselves from others (though this may be necessary in the early stages of recovery) But it may we may look at where, when and how we interact with people from our past. An important part of the recovery process is introducing others to recovery. We can’t do that by breaking ties.

Recovery is about setting, monitoring and maintaining boundaries for ourselves where we are in the recovery process, TODAY!
