There will be a highway called the Holy Road.

There will be a highway called the Holy Road. No one rude or rebellious is permitted on this road. It’s for GOD’s people exclusively– impossible to get lost on this road. Not even fools can get lost on it. Isaiah 35:8

The highway called the ‘Holy Road’ is God’s recover program for His people. He provided a way out of exile, and also provides a passage through the desert of pain and suffering into His presence. The road is without danger because God travels with us. We are not alone as we fight the battles of life, never alone because He is with us, strengthening us and helping us overcome temptation.

Returning to life without our addictions and compulsions can be filled with many unexpected and unwanted changes. Recovery is not going to solve all our problems, they could also increase, as we tackle problems we have avoided for a long time. The ‘Good News’   can is it can be successfully done. We can disassociate with our reckless, selfish past and develop a new way of living with God’s guidance, help and support.

Tell fearful souls, “Courage! Take heart! God is here, right here, on his way to put things right And redress all wrongs. He’s on his way! He’ll save you!” Blind eyes will be opened, deaf ears unstopped, Lame men and women will leap like deer, the voiceless break into song. Springs of water will burst out in the wilderness, streams flow in the desert. Isaiah 35:4-6

Thank You Lord, for the essential reminders of the process of transformation possible through the application of Your program of recovery.
