Real trust doesn’t give up http://ow.ly/i/fRF0G
We sought through prayer and meditation.
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious–the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Philippians 4:8 http://ow.ly/i/fQeWd
God knows what He is doing.
He got you started.
He introduced you to Jesus.
He will never give up on you.
and He will never forget you…
God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that. 1 Corinthians 1:9
Step 3: We made a decision to turn our wills and our lives over to the care of God.
God cares about our problems. He watches over us and wants to be involved in every area of our lives, if we will let Him?
Sometimes complete faith and trust in God is difficult. In the past we have trusted no-one and believed no-one trusted us. One way to build trust in God and other people is through finding a sponsor to help you learn to live a life free of addictions and compulsions.
Sponsors are people we can learn from and build trust in. As we do we realize God is also someone we can learn from and trust at a much deeper level than we can our sponsors.
God is perfect, people aren’t.
