Cloudiness

Luke 9:34-35 While Jesus was speaking, a cloud appeared. It surrounded them. The disciples were afraid as they entered the cloud.A voice came from the cloud. It said, “This is my Son, and I have chosen him. Listen to him.”

Three of the disciples had an ecstatic experience. Jesus was transfigured before them. John 1:14 ………. We have seen his glory. It is the glory of the one and only Son. He came from the Father. And he was full of grace and truth.

Many of us throughout our times of using will have experienced great highs, usualy followed by the sullen lows of hangovers. Clouds of sickness and often shame draping over our heads to spoil what were often supposed to be great events.

We can get lost in the clouds which often surround us. Sometime lazily looking for help, mastered by disapointment and bereft of exitement. Desperate for some new alternatives. The clouds around us becoming darker.Sadly for a number of us the story never changes. We continure daily is the haze of the cluds around us. Uncertain of how to move forward, unable in our own strength to find a way out.

Excessive build up of surrounding problems stress, questions, doubt and anxiety should not hinder us from making the greatest discovery of our lives: God speaks through the clouds. It is Jesus Christ alone who leads us out of the clouds into clearer thinking. We are foolish to look elsewhere but to Him. For He is the One True Higher Power the clouds cannot hide. Through Him our clouds of doom can be cleared and we can walk bodly into a new life. Guided by Him, Led by Him and Loved by Him.

Prayer: Lord help me todat to see through the clouds Your face. Show Yourself
strong on my behalf now and forever, especially when I feel I am lost in the clouds.
