Daily Reflection, June 19, 2016
All the time in recovery I experience people who want to complain about others in recovery.
The Bible tells us to love God and love others. How can we do that when we are too busy taking other people’s inventories?
The Serenity Prayer says in its first request to God; Grant me Serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
I am not responsible for anyone else’s recovery and they are not responsible for mine.
Another hard thing to do in the process of recovery is to allow others to make their own mistakes. Tell the truth about your own experience.
- When have you let someone else’s inventory damage your recovery?
Prayer: God help me today to concentrate on me.
