Daily Reflection July 7, 2016
No Easier, Softer Way
Hebrews 6:11-12 We desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
The battles of life ahead of anyone going through the recovery process ensure each of us variation and adegree of excitement. No two days will ever e the same. Our involvement or lack of it will determine how our days will be filled. Wrong choices will still bring wrong result, as most of probably already know. The inward drivr to self-satisfaction needs to be repelled by all of us.
There will be hard times. Hefty blows will be aimed at you. Harmful remarks will fall on your ears. Hurtful practices will get to you. Recovery is not a bed of roses. But, it is the best life. It is fulfilling. It is partnership with Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Give me God an appreciation of what recovery entails
and assist me to accept this is the right direction for my life to take.
