Daily Reflection October 7, 2016

Colossians 1:15-16 We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels–everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him.

The greatest tragedy is not death, but life without purpose.
Rick Warren

God has a purpose in place for each of us. Not just a purpose for the next big thing in our lives, but a purpose for where we are right now.We can understand His purpose for our lives through discovering what He wants us to do today.

The one prayer I pray everyday in my life is: God show me the next step! The next step in my family, the next step in my ministry, the next step in my employment etc. Relationship with God, through daily interaction with the Holy Spirit is a vital part of everything I do on my life. Through faith and trust in Him He guides me as I work with Him to accomplish His purpose for every area of my life.

Prayer: Lord Let Your purpose be my purpose.
Let me grow in faith and in trust to seek, to find and to do do Your will.
