Daily Reflection October 11, 2016
Galatians 4:9 Now you know God. Even better, God knows you. So why are you turning back to those weak and worthless beliefs? Do you want to be slaves to them all over again?
Recovery requires consistency. God expects us to obey Him consistently. He expects us to be constantly faithful in our confession of sin to Him. He expects us to consistently rely on Him for strength in the areas of our lives where we are weak.
Consistency in our lives and recoveries will help us to develop good reputations with others. We acquire a reputation good, bad or indifferent with others dependent on how we act and react to the things that happen in our lives. A good reputation comes from living out the qualities we believe in – regardless of what group of people or circumstances we find ourselves in.
- When others look at you what do they see and say?
Prayer: Lord help me to always obey You. To be faithful to the recovery process. To learn and adapt the principles of the recovery process in every area of my life.
