The Word for today is: DEBT

Proverbs 24:32-34  I took a long look and pondered what I saw; the fields preached me a sermon and I listened: “A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy–do you know what comes next?  Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life, with poverty as your permanent houseguest!”

  1. Psalms 37:21 Wicked borrows and never returns; Righteous gives and gives.
  2. Proverbs 22:7 The poor are always ruled over by the rich, so don’t borrow and put yourself under their power.
  3. Romans 13:8 Don’t run up debts, except for the huge debt of love you owe each other. When you love others, you complete what the law has been after all along.
