         Bible Reading: Romans 6:9-21

Focus Verse: Get along with each other; don’t be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies;
don’t be the great somebody
. Romans 12:16

We are made for community. None of us were created to be loners, even though that is how many of us ended up. We were born to share with others, care for others and take care of others.

A large part of the recovery process is learning to get along with others. Hebrews 10:24-25 says “Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on.”

Attending meetings and sharing in meetings is an important part of recovery process. Both for our benefit and for the benefit of encouraging others, who may have been brought into meetings to hear what we have got to say.

  • Are you attending meetings regularly?
    Or do you make excuses to avoid them?

Prayer: God help me to get up and go to meetings,
even if I don’t want to.
