Daily Reflections November 12, 2016
Colossians 3:2 Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right
in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ
–that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.
Our comfort in recovery is knowing our lie is safe in the hands of Jesus. He lives in and through our lives on a daily basis through the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. That’s why should not get caught up in the trivialities of life. Why we need to learn to think about Higher things, better things that are coming our way in our futures.
Recovery can be a long, drawn out process and sometimes we cannot see the road ahead. It is at those times we need to learn to rely on God and trust Him for the things we can’t yet see.
- What are you focusing on in your life right now? Things of the past or things that are yet to come?
Prayer: Lord elp me today to see my life and my recovery
from Your persepective.
