Daily Reflection November 28, 2016

Psalms 127:1-2  If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?

Adequate rest is an important ingredient in the recovery formula.

Rest is important for maintaining balance in our lives. We live in a world where there always seems to be too much to do.

Rest is an important part of God’s plan for us. On the seventh day, God rested. Not because He was tired, but to indicate the task was complete. Our full and complete rest begins when we trust Him to complete the has He has begun in our lives through the process of recovery.

  • Do you rest regularly?
  • What do you do to relax?

Prayer:  Lord let me rest today so I can be ready to do
what You want me to do ….
