Daily Reflection Decemeber 3, 2016
John 4:23-24 “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself–Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”
Worship is an encounter with the Holy Spirit: When we come to God in worship it is necessary to adjust our attitude so it is suitable for entering His presence.
Our worship is only as real as our involvement: Dry,meaningless worship ignores God’s meaning and purpose.
Worship is bringing our best to God: We worship God because He is perfect, just, almighty and worthy of the best we have to give.
Worship is the result of our submission and obedience to God: When we understand God’s truth and what Jesus did for us the only logical responses are submission and obedience.
It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God
