Failure – a living problem
I am God, your God, who brought you out of a life of slavery.
Blessed be God: he didn’t turn a deaf ear, he stayed with me, loyal in his love. And then he told me, my grace is enough; it’s all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. Once I heard that I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness.
We have all failed God, all sinned and fallen short of His Glory. Yet when we make a conscious decision to pursue recovery, regardless of the cost He rescues us. He frees us from our addictive personalities and behaviors and puts people in our lives to guide us.
Lord today I pray for your wisdom when I feel like I am not enough. Help me to understand the process of recovery And the motives behind my wrong decisions and behaviors. Thank You for another day clean and sober.
