1 Corinthians 6:12 Some of you say, “Everything is permitted for me.” But not everything is good for me. Again some of you say, “Everything is permitted for me.” But I will not be controlled by anything.
I started drinking at the age of fifteen. I became legally old enough to drink at eighteen. When I turned eighteen people said, “He’s old enough let him drink.”
Because of my addictive personality, mood-altering drugs were not good for me, at any age. Yet once I was legal the world was happy for me to live my life as a drunk.
