Letting God Be God

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.  Proverbs 3:5-6

God created everything. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

God is trustworthy. The Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes His unfailing love on those who love Him and obey His commands.  Deuteronomy 7:9

God is our hope. O Lord, You alone are my hope.  Psalms 71:5

God is our salvation. God has come to save me. I will trust in Him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.”  Isaiah 12:2

1 Timothy 4:10 This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers.

#19-God is With You

Psalms 13:1 Lord, how long must I wait? Will you forget me forever? How long will you turn your face away from me?

 It takes time to settle into the new routine of ‘Daily Recovery Life’ For so long our lives have just been a mess, no routine, and no support.

One of the big reasons for bale out in recovery is ‘impatience’ People don’t wait around long enough for the miracle to happen.

Be encouraged! God has not forgotten you and He has not brought you this far to leave you where you are.

As you move forward in the recovery process God is going to be calling on you more and more. For now, just enjoy the journey.
