Recovery is about glorifying God, not ourselves.
All of my life in recovery God has given me opportunities afforded not to others to share my experience, strength and hope with others. Not just people with addictions of any recovery. But with people from all walks of life. The privilege has been unbelievable. The doors opened phenomenally. Why? Because many years ago in a recovery program I made a commitment to God to always be available when He calls.
That commitment has had a serious impact on my life and the lives of my wife and children. The life-changing decisions we have had to make as a family have been many. Not always easy but always worth it. Recovery requires letting God lead.
