Consider Jesus #1
Colossians 1:15 We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created.
Jesus is God manifested in human flesh
This Christian life is a great mystery, far exceeding our understanding, but some things are clear enough: He appeared in a human body, was proved right by the invisible Spirit, was seen by angels. He was proclaimed among all kinds of peoples, believed in all over the world, taken up into heavenly glory. 1 Timothy 3:16
In the Trinity, He is the second person
Called the Son of God, distinguishing Him from the other two members, but co-equal with them in power and glory.
He is with us always
The Son of God, one huge priestly presence dominating the landscape always. Hebrews 7:3
When we accept that Jesus is God, the scriptures become intelligible. an ordered revelation of God in the person of Jesus, and meaningful.
He started at the beginning, with the Books of Moses, and went on through all the Prophets, pointing out everything in the Scriptures that referred to Him. Luke 24:27
