Proverbs 16:3 Put God in charge of your work, then what you’ve planned will take place.
Does God go to work with you? Right now in my work life, it is pretty hectic. Circumstances beyond my control or my companies control have made it necessary for us to move from one work site to another in order to keep providing services to our client. Which in turn means working longer and working harder for everyone.
When this happens in my life I find myself having to rely on God more and ensuring the lines of communication with Him remain open 24/7 and that I take time throughout the day to pause, Listen to Him and pay attention to Him. The Bible says in Matthew 11:28 “Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest.” The Message Bible, it says “Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest.”
Circumstances in our lives, not just our working lives but in every area of our lives don’t always go according to plan. That is why every day in every situation and circumstances we need to remember 2 Corinthians 1:9, which says “We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally–not a bad idea since he’s the God who raises the dead!”
