John 17:14-15 I gave them your word; The godless world hated them because of it, Because they didn’t join the world’s ways, Just as I didn’t join the world’s ways. I’m not asking that you take them out of the world But that you guard them from the Evil One.
A scientific study in the Journal of American Medical Association claimed that hospitalised heart patients supported by praying people needed fewer drugs and had fewer complications than those who were not. In most cases as small group of three to seven people participated.
Recovery meetings provide support to those who gather to share, It benefits us when we draw to ourselves a small group of friends or fellow fighters against lifes problems for the purpose of regular prayer.
Matthew 18:20 says “When two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.” A verse that should be quick to prompt action in our lives. A verse that raises tremendous posibbility for us to help each other as we walk the road of recovery together.
Living Life Recovery is a safe place where people can come, share and investigate the realities of God’s promises for themselves.
We believe that as we investigate God’s promises for our lives and practice the ‘Spiritual Principles of Recovery’ as outlined in ‘God’s Word’ we will find the strength and freedom we need to live productive and peaceful lives.
