Romans 12:16 Don’t be proud. Be willing to be a friend of people who aren’t considered important. Don’t think that you are better than others.
We were made for community. None of us were created to be loners, even though that’s how many of us ended up. We were born to share with others, care for others and take care of others.
A large part of the recovery process is encouraging others. Hebrews 10:25 says “Let us not give up meeting together. Some are in the habit of doing this. Instead, let us cheer each other up with words of hope. Let us do it all the more as you see the day coming when Christ will return.”
Meeting attendance is an important part of our recovery. Both for our benefit and for the benefit of others who God may have brought to hear what we have to say.
- Do you attend meetings regularly?
- if not, why not?
