Thankyou! for supporting ‘Living Life Recovery’ in 2018. I look forward to sharing with you all in the ‘New Year’ ahead.
Hebrews 3:13 says we should “Speak to each other about these things every day while there is still time so that none of you will become hardened against God, being blinded by the glamor of sin.”
Psalm 27:4 says “The one thing I want from God, the thing I seek most of all, is the living in his presence every day of my life, delighting in his incomparable perfections and glory.”
Proverbs 16:24 says “Kind words are like honey—enjoyable and healthful.”
It is my hope and prayer that in 2019 people will engage with‘Living Life Recovery’ an be prompted to investigate God’s promises fro their lives at their own pace.
“To be like Jesus this hope posses me. In every thought and deed this is my aim my creed.”
Romans 8:29 says “For from the very beginning God decided that those who came to him—and all along he knew who would—should become like his Son, so that his Son would be the First, with many brothers.”
Galatians 6:16 May God’s mercy and peace be upon all of you who live by this principle and upon those everywhere who are really God’s own.
Philippians 2:13 God is at work within you, helping you want to obey him, and then helping you do what he wants.
Romans 6:4 tells us “Your old sin-loving nature was buried with him by baptism when he died; and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought him back to life again, you were given his wonderful new life to enjoy.”
In 2019 may we all understand that from the beginning God decided that when we chose to make Jesus our One True Higher Power it would start the process of us becoming more and more like Him on a daily basis as we learn and practice the principles of recovery set out in His Word.
Galatians 6:9-10 says “Let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up. That’s why whenever we can we should always be kind to everyone.”
Ephesians 4:22-24says “Throw off your old evil nature—the old you that was a partner in your evil ways—rotten through and through, full of lust and sham. Now your attitudes and thoughts must all be constantly changing for the better. Yes, you must be a new and different person, holy and good. Clothe yourself with this new nature.”
In 2019 God is going to give us all oppotunities to share recovery with others. From many walks of life with varying problems and issues and He wants us to ‘Step Up!’ and ‘Step Out’ clothed in our ‘New Nature’ and to “alwaysbe kind.’
The two greatest commandments according to Jesus are to “love God” and “love others”
In 2019 it is my hope and prayer that God will use me to ‘Be Different and Make a Difference’ as I allow the words of the song above that say “His Spirit helping me like Him I’ll be.” HAPPY NEW YEAR!
