Day: 21 March 2019

Salvation is Found in Jesus

Romans 8:1 Those who belong to Christ Jesus are no longer under God’s judgment.

Have you ever considered the consequences of God’s judgment?

Obadiah 1:15 “The day of the Lord is near for all the nations. Others will do to you what you have done to them. You will be paid back for what you have done.”

We are all going to be held accountable for what we have done and be treated accordingly.

How do you overcome Gods judgment? It is in the verse above take recovery seriously. Get into a relationship with God and you will be saved.

Salvation is our assurance of God’s presence within us. Matthew 1:21 says “She [Mary] is going to have a son. You must give him the name Jesus. That’s because he will save his people from their sins.”

Prayer: Lord today I give my life to You. Take it, mold it and make it what You want it to be.

The Word For Recovery

Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn’t rain, and it didn’t—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again. James 5:16
