1 Corinthians 15:57 Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Regularly thanking God for what He has done, is doing and will do in our lives is a good habit to adapt in recovery.
There are four elements to habitual thankfulness we all need to learn and adapt:
1. Remembering what God has done for you.
2. Tell others about it.
3. Show God’ s glory in you.
4.. Offer to do something for someone else.
When I look at these four elements it helps me to understand more why the process of recovery works. The Twelve Steps includes all of these elements.
