HAVING IDENTIFIED THE PEOPLE, I HAVE HARMED,
I WILL NOW GO AND MAKE RESTITUTION TO THEM.
UNLESS TO DO IS GOING TO CAUSE THEM OR OTHER PAIN OR SUFFERING.
I didn’t want to do anything behind your back,
make you do a good deed that you hadn’t willingly agreed to. Philemon 1:14
Recovery is a choice and how far we want to go to change our lives is a choice.
How committed are you to repairing relationships?
Not all of us are the same. We have different strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and gifts. We are not all meant to teach, we are not all meant to become Sponsors or mentors, but we are all meant to care.
Caring is also a choice. The great thing about the choices we make in our lives is we usually make our choices based on how much we are willing to commit. The depth we are prepared to go to repairing our relationships is also dependent on how much we care and are willing to commit.
The one relationship we must never skimp on a commitment to is our relationship with God.
Prayer: Lord today help me to care and commit to repairing my relationships.
