WHAT DOES SALVATION MEAN FOR US?
Out of sheer generosity, he [God] put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:24
Being saved means our sins of the past no longer count against us. t means we are forgiven by the grace of God, and we are given the free gift of eternal life. Being saved does not spare us from troubles here on earth [John 16:33], but it does spare us from eternal judgment.
BEING SAVED MEANS WE ARE GIVEN A FRESH START
God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life. Don’t throw me out with the trash, or fail to breathe holiness in me. Bring me back from gray exile, put a fresh wind in my sails! Psalms 51:10-12
Being saved frees us from guilt and removes the chaos from our lives – we are forgiven by the ‘Grace of God’
GOD’S WORD PROMISES TO ANYONE WHO COMES TO GOD AND REPENTS
“Everyone who calls, ‘Help, God!’ gets help.” Romans 10:13
Call out to God. Tell Him you need His help and He promises us He will help.
