I Will Rise Up and Rescue

We never really know enough until we recognize that God alone knows it all. 1 Corinthians 8:3
We can know and be known by God only when we model him by showing love

Psalms 18:6 When I was in trouble, I called out to the Lord. I cried to my God for help. From his temple, he heard my voice. My cry for help reached his ears.
The night before you entered recovery; do you remember where you were? What you were doing?
It is good sometimes to remember where we came from and reflect on how we got to where we are now.
My journey into spiritual recovery involved leaving behind everything I knew and loved and moving to a place where I knew no-one and had no supports.
It was through that experience I learned the importance of a personal relationship with God and my need to rely on Him.

TAKE TIME TO REFLECT
When you look into water, you see a likeness of your face. When you look into your heart, you see what you are really like. Proverbs 27:19
STUDY HOW JESUS LIVED
Lead a life of love, just as Christ did. He loved us. He gave himself up for us. He was a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:2
LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR HIM
I have been crucified with Christ. I don’t live any longer. Christ lives in me. My faith in the Son of God helps me to live my life in my body. He loved me. He gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
Prayer: God today give me a fresh awareness of what You have done for me.
Moses wrote out this Revelation and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the Chest of the Covenant of God, and to all the leaders of Israel. And he gave these orders: “At the end of every seven years, the Year-All-Debts-Are-Canceled. Deuteronomy 31:9-10
Thousands of incarcerated people around the world long for the day of their release. Many are not confined in government institutions but are imprisoned within the confines of their minds. Longing for escape from deprivation of liberty imposed by self-will and wrong decisions. Slaves in bygone days under Jewish law could anticipate being set free by the provision of a year of release.
The proclamation of Jesus Christ is to ‘set captives free’ This didn’t refer to those in jail. It was part of God’s plan if release to release us from self-imposed slavery. Many of us refusing to accept to His gift of freedom. We all need to make a conscious decision to accept His offer and commit to living our lives according to His will not our own.
God reminds us, I heard your call in the nick of time; The day you needed me, I was there to help. Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don’t put it off; don’t frustrate God’s work by showing up late, throwing a question mark over everything we’re doing. 2 Corinthians 6:2-3 #Slavery #Release #Freedom
PAY ATTENTION TO GOD
You know how to tell a change in the weather, so don’t tell me you can’t tell a change in the season, the God-season we’re in right now. Luke 12:56
KEEP MOVING FORWARD
Earlier, before you knew God personally, you were enslaved to so-called gods that had nothing of the divine about them. But now that you know the real God–or rather since God knows you–how can you possibly subject yourselves again to those paper tigers? Galatians 4:8-9
GOD KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING
“You’re blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom.” Matthew 5:10
Prayer: I pray that I may believe that changes for my good are possible in my life with God’s help.
