Cheer Up!

Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. Mark 6:50

It is amazing what wonderful discoveries we can make when we pay attention. Some of life’s discoveries however happen unexpectedly. Every day in our lives can be exciting! Recognition of a personal relationship with Jesus can lead us to great understanding of ourselves and his footprint on our lives. We always goes before us. We can follow Him at a safe distance. He is ‘The Way‘ to recovery and His way is the best way. How cheerful we can be knowing He is out in front. Our moving forward dependent on our willingness to follow Him.

He also wants to walk with us. To be involved in our lives and to correct us when we get it wrong. His command ‘Follow Me’ the only way to lasting spiritual maturity. What cheering news. He seeks ti implement all of His plans for us from alongside us. Look forward, onward and upward, forever tracing His footsteps, marking out our way. Everyday marked by His ever-present presence.

Good people, cheer God! Right-living people sound best when praising. Psalms 33:1

– The spirit of rejoicing is life adjusted to the will of God

Is anything too hard for God? Genesis 18:14

– The answer is NO!

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Philippians 4:6-7

– Do you want to worry less? Then pray more!
