2 Corinthians 1:12 Now that the worst is over, we’re pleased we can report that we’ve come out of this with conscience and faith intact, and can face the world—and even more importantly, face you with our heads held high. But it wasn’t by any fancy footwork on our part. It was God who kept us focused on him, uncompromised.
Day: 6 February 2020
Acts 3:16 This man whom you see and know was made strong because of faith in Jesus’ name. Faith in Jesus has healed him completely. You can see it with your own eyes.
We all have a story. I love this verse in the Bible and it tells my story in one verse. I was broken and God repaired me. I was lost and God found me, I was addicted and God healed me. Anyone who knew back then, who I am still connected to will confirm if you ask them “I am a new creation.” And it’s because I put my faith in God.
Through daily relationship with the Holy Spirit and belief that I never have to again be the person I was. Today, I can experience God’s healing and spiritual growth. Recovery is about understanding our own story and giving others hope through sharing it.
- When did you last share your story with someone else?
- Do you need to share it today?
“”My purpose is not to get your vote, and not to appeal to mere human testimony. I’m speaking to you this way so that you will be saved.” John 5:34
“These are written down so you will believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and in the act of believing, have real and eternal life in the way he personally revealed it.” John 20:31
“This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time.”” John 6:40
Prayer: Lord, introduce me to someone today to share my story with.
