I am making a decision to let God help me change and commit to working with Him to do so.
Jesus’ priesthood is permanent. He’s there from now to eternity to save everyone who comes to God through him, always on the job to speak up for them. Hebrews 7:24-25
There is One Way I know to a living, growing, lasting recovery experience and that is through personal relationship with Jesus,
How do I know that? Because I have tried it without Him and tried it with Him and my personal experience confirms He is the only way too productive, progressive, life-changing recovery.
There were many things from my past I didn’t want to face up to and He helped me to face up to them. There were many bad habits in me that I was comfortable with. He made me uncomfortable about them and helped me change them.
Recovery is not easy, but it is necessary, and it is worth it if you put your faith in Jesus Christ
- What do you have faith in?
Acts 16:1-5 says that after Paul found a young disciple Timothy they traveled from town to town presenting simple guidelines for living. v5 says “That turned out to be most helpful. Day after day the congregations became stronger in faith and larger in size.”
In order for us to progress in our spiritual maturity we need to: Find a sponsor or accountability partner we can trust to help us to better understand the Twelve Steps and what applying them to every day living entails.
- How is it working out for you?
Faith for me was easy. I had lost everything, spiritually, mentally and physically and God was my last option but wisest choice.
