Recovery Takes Time
Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.” Luke 9:62
Recovery is a process of continual spiritual growth. The main ingredients of which are ‘TIME’ and ‘PERSEVERANCE’
It’s about learning to focus on the future without trying to live there or get there before you are supposed to.
You cannot get twenty years of recover wisdom in one, two or ten years.
Recovery is a process of daily character improvement through learning the steps and applying them to every area of your life.
Are you studying the process?
God’s works are so great, worth A lifetime of study–endless enjoyment!
Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed–that exhilarating finish in and with God–he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. Hebrews 12:2
Where do you think you are in the process of recovery right now? “God and God only has the power to help or hurt your cause.“
2 Chronicles 25:8
Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally–not a bad idea since he’s the God who raises the dead!
2 Corinthians 1:9
