I pity the man who, proud of his system says, ‘My ideas have not changed on thirty years: I am what I was: I love; I love what I loved.’ Ridiculous is the man who never changes.

I read this quote this morning and I am happy to say since entering rehab the first time in 1987 “I have changed a lot.” But my passion hasn’t changed. “To introduce people to recovery and changed life through the Twelve Steps. and their application in every area of their life”

There is only one thing we need to change in the recovery process: EVERYTHING.

WE NEED GOD’S HELP TO CHANGE EVERYTHING
World events are under his control. He removes kings and sets others on their thrones. He gives wise men their wisdom and scholars their intelligence. He reveals profound mysteries beyond man’s understanding. He knows all hidden things, for he is light, and darkness is no obstacle to him. Daniel 2:21-22

WE NEED TO PUT GOD IN HIS RIGHTFUL PLACE
“Unless you turn to God from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 18:3

HOPE GIVES US CONFIDENCE
None of those who have faith in God will ever be disgraced for trusting him. Psalms 25:3

GOD’S WORD GIVES US HOPE
May I never forget your words, for they are my only hope.
Psalms 119:43

HOPE COMES FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT
I pray that God will help you overflow with hope in Him through the Holy Spirit’s power within you. Romans 15:13

HOPE IS FOUND IN JESUS CHRIST
If all we get out of Christ is a little inspiration for a few short years, we’re a pretty sorry lot. 1 Corinthians 15:19

Learning and applying ‘The Twelve Steps ‘ in my life (according to and aligned with God’s Word) Daily sharing in relationship with the Holy Spirit and acceptance of Jesus Christ as my ‘One True Higher Power’ has changed everything in my life and in my character. I am not the same as I used to be. I don’t think the same, I don’t act the same. I believe differently. My hope today is in Him, He has lifted me to places I could never have gone on my own and my prayer today is He is doing the same for you or will do the same for you if you put your faith and your trust in Him.
