Do not pray for easy lives: pray to be stronger people! Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers; pray for powers equal to your task. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be a miracle. Every day you shall wonder to yourself about the richness of life which have come to you by the grace of God.

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Make sure your foundation is trust in God, I’m laying it all out right now just for you.

God is near all who call out to Him with integrity.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Prayer includes confession of sin, which demonstrates the humility necessary for open lines of communication with God. I love God because He hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

I will reflect on all God has done and meditate on His actions. His ways are holy. Our grace and peace will be multiplied through our knowledge of God’s will and God’s ways.

Our relationship with God and our commitment to living by the principles of recovery that He teaches brings us success in our lives. Failure results when you ignore God’s voice and disobey his Word. The Bible is God’s instruction manual for how life really works. It is the foundation that keeps our lives from falling apart. We can often prevent failure by reading the Bible and building our lives on its principles.
