Discover and follow His plan for you.

Don’t get ahead of the Master and jump to conclusions with your judgments before all the evidence is in. When he comes, he will bring out in the open and place in evidence all kinds of things we never even dreamed of—inner motives and purposes and prayers. Only then will any one of us get to hear the “Well done!” of God. 1 Corinthians 4:5

It is tempting to judge others in the recovery fellowship, evaluating whether or not they are really recovering. But only God knows a person’s heart, and He is the only one with the right to judge. Paul’s warning to the Corinthians should also warn us. We must not judge who is recovered and who is not. Judging others is considering ourselves better than they are.

God has a personal plan for us each. He is calling us to discover and follow His plan for our lives and concentrate on what we can do in our character to live lives worthy of His calling.

Recovery takes time and God in His wisdom knows none of us are yet ready to know and understand all He has planned and prepared for us. We must daily seek His will for our lives and His power to carry it out.
