The Blessings of God’s Grace: Salvation through the process of recovery is good news! This is especially true because God offers it to us freely even though we do not deserve it. This Good News goes beyond God’s offer to pay for our sins; God also seeks to transform our lives so we can live daily with the reality of His power. None of us needs to be afraid. Regardless of our past or our failures relationship with God is not based on our success, It is based on His provision for the forgiveness of our sins—Jesus Christ. As we trust our lives to Him, He forgives us and empowers us to live according to His will for us.
Ephesians 2:10 says, “we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.”
The time for action in each of our lives is now, TODAY! We learn early in our recovery journey the slogan ONE DAY ATA TIME and the importance of making the most of what we have now. None of us arrived here by accident. It was all a plan. We need to learn that and apply what we learn from Him and His Word to help those still suffering the negative effect of addiction and compulsion. we need to learn TO BE LIKE JESUS in all that we say and do.
Lord help me today, show me the way One Day at a Time!
